My sister and I both have our first appointment with Dr Freeman on June 26th. I am still scared. One day I think you better believe I am having this surgery, if my insurance approves. Then the next I think, I could really stick to a diet if I just tried one more time. The only thing I do know is I've got to do something. I hate everything about being fat, with my looks being one of the least upsetting things. As those of you who are or were overweight know. There is so much that just can't be done because of all this extra baggage. I could go on for ever about my feeling but I'll stop at that. Just please keep me and my sister in your prayers.

Hi! My surgery date is June 9th......Anyone else? I'm actually not excited or nervous but feeling very calm and at ease or maybe it's denial so I can get through it without rethinking the whole thing. lol

I was so worried when I came home last night and had a message from my surgeon's office saying that my surgery on 6/19/03 had to be rescheduled. I called this morning and found that I will be going in for surgery 6/20/03. WHEW!!! I was worried it would have to be another month. I am getting so excited. I go tomorrow for my lab work, and have already pre-registered at the hospital.

I'm a June 23rd too!...19 days and counting...hope it goes by fast...I'm so ready for the hospital part of this to be done and over with!...I am having my Open RNy in Raleigh, NC at Rex Hospital.
