gets my surgery is june 23 on Norwalk C.T .but Iam very happy, I never had a surgery on my life,well only for no more children.but Im not nervous I jusy thinking that went my doctor finish that is went my new life star, so tried to relax and thing about you new life and also the someone you don't know is having surgery the same day.if you like to e-mail me welcome [email protected]

I am calm. I have lots of adreneline but I'm calm. Slept well last night. Even though I've read everything about the surgery for months on this site. Actually that's why I'm calm. Because it works. Thanks for all the well-wishes, kind people; they help more than you know. Renee

Char, Today, I said a prayer for you. I asked Our Father to guide you and to grant you peace. In his words, he said he would never leave you nor forsake you. He knows what you're feeling, what you're going through even before you ask, he is just waiting for you to do just that (ask). I will pray with you (so you are never alone). Topic: Any extra Angels around

I will be having my surgery on 6/23 and could really use some extra prayers as I am getting really nervous. I have had major surgeries in the past so I don't know why this one has me so nervous. Maybe it is all the extra testing they put me through. I don't know if they are being extra careful or if this surgery is that dangerous. I would be interested in hearing from anyone in Northern Illinois that is either waiting for the surgery or has had it done already. Thanks

My date is June 16th, and although I am not freakin out - I am a bit nervous -- even went ahead and wrote a will, although when I tried to discuss it with my husband, he wanted no part of that discussion! Got my pre-op testing done this week, and have four days to go! I'm not going to clean the house - It will only get doubly wrecked by my husband and kids while I'm at the hospital. Instead, I'll give strong hints about letting them clean so I come home to a neat, clean house that I won't feel obligated to "strain myself" right after surgery, LOL -- guilt does work, right?
