Topic: RE: Has your appetite expanded?????
YES< YES YES...to all of you....our appetites are defiantely back to normal; hopefully to that of a normal skinny person...However...I still can not do the sugar items - getting bad cramping from cake & icecream, like at my son's birthday party this month...AAAWWW!!!! And defiantely have to watch how many times we eat... Even though I feel hungry...like my stomach saying FEED ME !!! try to stay away from food as much as possible... I started back at WEIGH****CHERS ...they have a great system, and their meetings are very supportive...and that is what I feel we need support to keep losing the weight and NOT Put it back on, and the motivation to keep us on track... Good Luck everybody, CAROL

Topic: RE: Has anyone gained any weight back after about a One and a Half Years after surgery?
Yes Nancy...I too had started to gain some weight back. I had gotten my insurance denial for Tummy tuck, and thought...What is the Use? Well, after somebody at work asked me: Are you gaining your weight Back? I at first thought "the nerve" of them...but then I truely thought about the truth behind their question..I was gaining weight back, and I thought it was about 10 pounds, but when I got on the scale it was actually like 15 pounds ...THE SHAME & THE HORROR of it ALL !!!! I went back to Weigh****chers about 12 weeks ago, and I have lost 12.8 pounds of it... and I WILL NOT LET MYSELF GET FAT AGAIN....and I will not destroy everything that I have worked so hard on.... and I will get my Tummy tuck , even if I have to go to MEXICO and pay for it out of my own pocket.... Just remember , it is YOUR BODY...and fight for what you want.... Good Luck, and don't let that weight come back.... fight the urges, get a support team going... and get that back off now...before it keeps adding up... Carol

Hi Dawn: don't feel bad...I feel like I am way off too...got denied by insurance because of the wording PS submitted to insurance company as cosmetic...AAAHHH!!!! I had started to gain weight after that too, I felt depressed , and like stuff just wasn't going to happen for me either, and then I thought...WHAT AM I DOING??? I have worked so hard to lose this weight...to get my RNY done...and I am going to do whatever it takes to get to where I WANT TO BE...I rejoined my Weigh****chers, and I have been faithfully going now for 12 weeks, and have lost 12.8 pounds since then...it is slow, but I am DETERMINED... Stick in with it... and if we have to pay for plastic surgery... look also into other countries, the have good doctors , some of them, and are cheaper because their eceonomies over there are cheaper... You worked hard, and you deserve it.... FIGHT FOR WHAT YOU WANT... it is your body...CAROL

I can completely relate to you. I have lost 215 lbs and in a size 4-6. I think I look great in clothes but god forbid anyone has to see me with them off! HEHE. I am going to have plastic surgery and my insurance probably won't cover it but I am going to find a way to pay for it. I am only 27 and it's like you said...we deserve this! Wish you the best of luck!

Hi Tami. Congratulations on reaching the 2 year mark. You look great! Not everyone makes it to be a skinnie-minnie (I didn't) but we are all much healthier. Keep up the good work and we soon will be celebrating our 4 year anniversaries.

Lisa......First of all it's hard for someone to relate to what you have been through if they have never been there. That's why I love this site so much. I am on it all the time because I can feel the love and caring that we have for one another. I haven't had the surgery yet and my family doesn't want me to but I know it is time. If you would like to Email me, send me a line. Cathy
