is my big day. I can't believe it's finally here. Thank you everyone for your kindness and support.

I had my surgery on June 10th. Tomorrow is my 2 week anniversary. I've lost 22 pounds. I've eaten a scrambled egg with cheese, almost the whole things (Of course it was a small egg). I haven't tried grits, didn't like them before and won't eat them now. The best thing I've found is watermelon. I can eat a lot of it and it doesn't get me sick, remember it is mostly water. I drank a bit of milk last night and got stomach cramps, they were no fun. I have no intentions of getting sick, no milk for a while for me. Best wishes.

Woohoo...Im so happy Im gonna be a loser next Monday...anyone else out there with June 30th date?

TWO MORE DAYS TO GO!! I'm so excited, I can barely sit still. I've probably lost at least 10 pds., from preparation for the surgery. I've been to 3 different grocery stores, Target's, GNC, you name it, I'm doing it. I am over the jitters, I have a really positive attitude, and most of all I have FAITH!! I don't believe God has brought me this far for nothing. I'm thanking everyone for all of the support and prayers. I'll post tomorrow!!

Stephanie: Hope all goes well for you. I'm relatively new at all this myself (found the website within the last month or so). I just received my surgery date of 7/14/03 and I know how anxious I am so can't imagine how nervous/scared/excited/terrified/elated/thrilled/(did I mention scared) you must be right now. I don't have any words of wisdom to give you as I haven't gone through the process either yet. But, just remember why you are doing this. We all have our own issues/reasons but ultimately the end result is the same - we are intelligent individuals *****alize that a change is needed and are going to start taking control of the rest of our lives in order to become who we know is trapped inside of us!
