I have surgery June 2 2003 and I am currently 80lbs lost. If I never lose another pound I would say this surgery is still worth it! I feel good have more energy. I hope everyone else is doing as good!!!

My iron (hemoglobin) is always VERY LOW. I am now taking 3 iron pills to help improve the levels. I t will hider me from approval with Aetna if I do not get the levels up. Eat more green veggies, beans, beets, etc. It wil help.

Becky, My name is Paula, I also had the surgery the same day as you did. I am at 29 1/4. I also feel like I am loosing too slow. everybody is different in their weight loss. we are just slow loosers. Keep up the great job and keep up your spirit.

I guess all doctors are different but mine has me on Flintstones Complete chewable, one each day. I am also on Caltrate D chewable. No sugar is listed on the Flintstones, although I am a bit skeptical about this.

I also bought some liquid Centrum at Rite Aid. When I got it home I noticed it has 5 gr of sugar per serving (1tbsp.) Isn't that kind of high? Linda

I had my surgery 8/30 also. I have only lost 36 pounds and nothing in the last 3 weeks! Sound familiar? My surgeon told me I might not lose as fast as someone with a higher starting weight. I was at 220 pounds. I do need to exercise more, I am a slug!! Linda

If you are need in liquid vitamins, I found Liquid Centrum at Stater Bros.
Not bad tasting and much easier than splitting the vitamin and trying to swallow it.
