I had the Lap Band on June 19, 2003. I'm not losing as quickly as the RNY folks but I am down 42 lbs. Congratulations to all of you losers!!! I hope to hit 50 lbs this month - cross your fingers for me 
I have to work on my will power - it's slipping away as time goes on so I'm really trying to re-focus. Good news is that I'm down from a size 28 to a snug 20, comfortable 22.

Hello People!!
How the heck are ya???? I am just damn peachy. I am down 70 pounds since my surgery 6/2/03. I read some of your posts (like those who've lost 100 pounds--WOW) and started feeling down, but thought about how far I have come. My goal was 150 pounds and I am almost half-way there.
Patting myself on the back and not breathing hard from stretching. Its wonderful!!!
Thank you Dr. Bauman for giving me a new life. I can not say thank you for giving me my life back because before 6/2/03, I did not live. I just existed. Bu****ch out cause girlfriend is steppin out.

I am excited and highly blessed of the Lord!! I just posted the exact thing on my profile. I feel like my old self again. As far as the compliments, they can be overwhelming at times. Blessings.

I'm thinner than I was when I got married (23 1/2 years ago). I have so much energy. I feel "NORMAL" again.

I am so excited! I have been excited for months (surgery date 6/25/03) I feel like my old self only better, faster and more energy! The results of the surgery is wonderful. I am looking and feeling FANTASTIC!!! Give me some feedback if you are EXCITED; feeling GREAT; looking and feeling Better than you have felt in YEARS; and are accepting those compliments gracefully, and are glad that you had the surgery....Take care everyone...
