Good to hear of your great accomplishments. In some ways it is like being an "all new person." I like this new person and feel much better about myself, don't you? Keep up with the hard work. It is paying off BIG time. Let us know when you reach the century club mark. Lots of celebrating will be going on!

You are a success story Joan. I think sometimes we are too down on ourselfs to give ourselfs a pat on the back when we deserve it. Do you have before and after pictures? Pretty soon you will be in the century club. Keep up the new "happier and heathier" you!

Whoo Hoo -- for those who have been following me, you know that my goal was to have lost 100 pounds by my 47th birthday (yes - I told my age!) which was last Friday, November 21st! I am hear to now report that I DID IT! I have been off the boards since last Thursday or I would have posted sooner - I'm so excited!
Now for my next goal -- to be "HOT" again before I'm 50! Ok, OK, - I'll take a couple of mini-goals in between!

Hi, I am 5 months post op as of yesterday and I am down about 85 lbs since I started this journey. Sometimes it does not feel fast enough, but I continue to walk about 2.5 miles a day and am happier than I have ever been. I am looking forward to the holidays and the new year, because the possibilities are unlimted....

I've lost 70 lbs with about another 60-65 to go before I reach my goal, can't wait. I feel so much better, I went to the mall today have'nt done that in a while. I go to stores now that don't have shopping carts for me to lean on and, I've been raking leaves hate those leaves.

Happy belated birthday! Excellent job we had our surgeries on the same day, I'm down 70 lbs and I planning on joining curves. I feel so much better than before.
