Happy re-birth day, surgery twin! I can't believe the difference in my life since having my gastric bypass. Congratulations to you on all the hard work over the past year, and keep on keepin' on!

I also had my surgery on June 30th 2003. I have lost 154 lbs. since i started on the liquid diet 1 week before my surgery date untill today!
I hope you have had as much sucess or better!

I WAS JUST CHECKING SOME EMAIL AND SOMEONE FROM AMOS HAD WROTE AND CONGRATULATED ME AND REMINDED ME TO COME AND UPDATE MY PROFILE. I HAD BEEN SO BUSY TODAY I HAD FORGOTTEN THAT TODAY IS THE ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF MY LAPROSCOPIC GASTRIC BANDING PROCEDURE. I WAS ON A PLATEAU FOR THE LAST TWO TO THREE MONTHS, I WAS VERY DEPRESSED ABOUT IT. LAST THURSDAY I WENT TO A NEW DOCTOR (CHANGED FAMILY DOCS) AND WAS WEIGHED AND WAS 20 LBS DOWN FROM LAST MONTH. I HAD A RETURNING VISIT TODAY, AND JUST SINCE THURSDAY OF LAST WEEK I HAD DROPPED ANOTHER 20 LBS.!!!! 
WHAT A GREAT WAY TO CELEBRATE MY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY. I AM WEIGHING LESS NOW THAN I HAVE SINCE 15 YEARS OLD. (BY THE WAY I AM 47) STARTING OFF AT OVER 400 LBS, I AM NOW UNDER 300 LBS!!!!!!!!! 
CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE THAT HAS AN ANNIVERSARY THIS MONTH. 
I WISH YOU ALL EXCELLENT HEALTH AND HAPPINESS!!!

MY NAME IS SUSAN ROHN AND I'M FROM FREELAND, MICHIGAN. I HAD SURGERY ON JUNE 30TH, 2003. I HAVE LOST 107 LBS. AND WEARING A SIZE 4 AND EVEN SOME 2'S!! YIPPPPEEEE!!! I WAS 25O LBS. AND GOT DOWN TO 236 JUST PRIOR TO SURGERY. I NOW WEIGH IN AT 129 LBS. NEED A TT AND A BREAST LIFT BADLY!!! CAN'T WAIT. I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW FAST THIS TIME HAS FLOWN BYE. IT'S SOOOOO AMAZING!!!

June 4th was my 1 year anniversary and I am now weighing 147lbs!
I am so excited. I wore a 9/10 blouse this evening from my olde size of 26/28.!! If I never lose another pound I am OK!!

I'm a June '03 person too! (the 13th). You've done fabulous! Moving through life is easier after WLS. Congratulations on your life-changing year.
I have no regrets (I just need to try and get that liquid in. Seems 60-70 oz a day just isn't enough to not be dehydrated.)

Topic: Happy Anniversary
Wednesday, June 2, 2004, I celebrated my one-year anniversary from gastric bypass surgery. What a year it has been.
I am down 118 pounds from my starting weight. I am down toa size 16 from a 28/30. I can walk without feeling like I might need an ambulance and oxygen to get me to my next destination, I can lotion my own legs and feet without passing out from holding my breath. I can see my feet when I look down at them and I have an actual figure.
I am happier than words can ever express. I feel like a new woman. Thank you Dr. Bauman and al the folks at the Weightloss Surgery Center who heped make this happen.
