Hey everyone, Yesterday I celebrated my anniversary. I cannot believe it has been a whole year! I lost 98 lbs and my surgeon told me that this is exactly where he would want me to be right now. Hoping to lose the remaining 44 lbs by Christmas. 282/184/140

Wow, has the year drastically gone by. I have lost 125# since June 25, 2003. I can fit in a swing!!! Do you realize it has been well over 10 years since I have been able to fit into a swing. I should be able to fit in the rides at the amusement parks. This surgery has really changed my life. It was not easy in the beginning. Some days I was not able to eat. Every thing got "STUCK". I thought to myself " What have I done to myself? " I now know that I saved my life. Congratulations and best wishes to everyone that has reached their goals, and those who are striving to reach them. Keep your head up when times get rough. Grace and Peace to everyone.

HAPPY WEIGHTLOSS SURGERY ANNIVERSARY TO ME June 30, 2003 was a start of a NEW life. It has been very fast and REWARDING 1 year! The first exciting thing I must tell you all is I made it to my goal - 200 pounds in 1 year. I am VERY happy and proud of this accomplishment. I tell you when I look back I don't even believe how big I was and how much I was missing in life. I am truly enjoying my NEW life at a SIZE 10/12 YIPPEE. I have never in my adult life been this small. All I can say is I have been truly bless and it's a GOD thing!

Topic: RE: Severe Pain
Hi there. I have indeed had this pain before. A few questions for you. Does it have any patterns? Like when you eat certain foods or beverages? How long does it last? When I get this, it's usually because I either didn't chew something up properly and it's stuck in the hole after my pouch, or it's an air bubble doing the same. I try to eliminate it by eating more slowly and intently, and trying to sip smaller when I drink. I hope this helps and please let us know what your doc says! ~christi
