It has been a very long tiome since I chatted or wrote anything about my surgery. I had the surgery 6/9/03, to date I have lost 157 lbs. I can't really share with family and friends how I truly feel. They just don't get it. I am at the stage where I wonder if there is love after WLS. I sort of think, it is only if you have plastic surgery first. How do we deal with all of that extra stuff, especially if you can't afford to have plastic surgery?

Lisa......First of all it's hard for someone to relate to what you have been through if they have never been there. That's why I love this site so much. I am on it all the time because I can feel the love and caring that we have for one another. I haven't had the surgery yet and my family doesn't want me to but I know it is time.
