How long til Hernia Repair and Tummy Tuck??

I am just over 9 Mos. out from my BPD-DS and have lost 215 pounds. 556 to 341. I have a huge hernia on my stomach that is really embarassing to me, and Im real self conscious about it. Does anyone know when the earliest possible time I may be able to have this procedure done?? My surgeon says not til I reach goal, that is 2 long for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My surgeon said since I had lost over what the surgery was expected to do for me, that I could have mine anytime now. I weighed 368 last June and now May am at 199. My hernia doesn't hurt, unless I lift something heavy. But it does look like I am pregnant. So I know what you mean....Write me back. Janie
