Any extra Angels around

I will be having my surgery on 6/23 and could really use some extra prayers as I am getting really nervous. I have had major surgeries in the past so I don't know why this one has me so nervous. Maybe it is all the extra testing they put me through. I don't know if they are being extra careful or if this surgery is that dangerous. I would be interested in hearing from anyone in Northern Illinois that is either waiting for the surgery or has had it done already. Thanks

i'm right there with u..and right behing u..i'm going june 24... and i pray that everything goes ok....believe me i say a pray for that morning so that everything goes well for u...see on the losing side of life.. good luck..

Char, Today, I said a prayer for you. I asked Our Father to guide you and to grant you peace. In his words, he said he would never leave you nor forsake you. He knows what you're feeling, what you're going through even before you ask, he is just waiting for you to do just that (ask). I will pray with you (so you are never alone). gets my surgery is june 23 on Norwalk C.T .but Iam very happy, I never had a surgery on my life,well only for no more children.but Im not nervous I jusy thinking that went my doctor finish that is went my new life star, so tried to relax and thing about you new life and also the someone you don't know is having surgery the same day.if you like to e-mail me welcome [email protected]

hey Char ... I'm in Chicago ... my day is 2 days away (Wednesday June 18) ... I'm feeling very overwhelmed right now ... I appreciate the kind words everyone has sent me, but it still hasn't taken the edge off. I'm trying to "not think much about it" ... or as Nike says: "Just do it" ... otherwise I'm just getting myself all worked up. I wish you well, hope you're not freakin out as much as me ... maybe we can hook up sometime and compare notes. In the meantime, may God guide and comfort us through all we do.

My surgery is this Friday. I've had so much nervous energy that I've actually been cleaning, which is unheard of in my house! My prayers go out to you! I've never had surgery before and so I've been trying to keep busy, so I don't dwell on it. I went through a lot of testing, and am surprised at all the medications I have to take before surgery! I try to think about the future and how great it is going to be when we get there! I'm letting my family worry about the details! I don't even know how long the surgery is! Judy
