June 2, 2003....my REbirth day!!!!!!!!!

After 2 1/2 years of researching and waiting, my day has finally come! I am so excited and a bit anxious, as I count down the next 5 days to this coming Monday! I will be having the RNY done by Dr. Dennis Smith at the Northside Hospital - Cherokee in Canton, GA. The phone number there is (770) 720-5100 and I will be listed under my legal name, Sylvia L. Gore. My mother will be staying with me and her name is also Sylvia Gore, but I do go by Laurie. Please keep me in your prayers as I have my surgery and recovery! I know that my Heavenly Father hears and answers the prayers of His children!

WOW!TWO YEARS, I thought eight months was long, Im having surgery on June 3,03. Im so excited for the out come. I pray that yyou do well and that you have speedy recovery. CONGRATULATIONS on your REBIRTHDAY.

After reading your profile, my wait does not seem to be any length of time at all, but the problem is we are still trying to get insurance company approval, and my surgery is also scheduled for Monday.
