My date is June 11th at Holy Cross

16 more days to go I am so nervous

Hi! Your post caught my eye so quickly!! I am also a Donna Myers!!! Actually, I am Donna Ciancio now, but my maiden name was Myers!! My middle name is Marie. I am having my surgery on June 24th. I am also nervous, but also excited at the same time. I live in Arlington, Texas and will be having my surgery with Dr. Kerry Ozment at the St. Vincent Bariatric Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. I have to self pay because my insurance denied me coverage due to an obesity exclusion. I am 39 years old and am married and have a little boy who will celebrate his 9th birthday on the day of my surgery. I am giving him a new mommy!!! He is going to Colorado to stay with my parents while I have surgery and heal. It is the first time I will ever be apart from him and I am more sad about that then the surgery!! Hey Donna, my surgery date is June 11, 2003 also and it will be at St Joes in StPaul MN at 230pm. I am so excited and so nervous too. Just think though next year at this time we will be so much healthier and so much skinnier!!! Yahooooooo!!! We will both succeed at this and good luck and see you on the other side!!!
