June 25 surgery date. Anyone want to be my angel? 54yo open RNY

I am looking forward to surgery with anticipation and fear. Can anyone be with me through this? I could sure use a friend that understands and can answer questions, who has been there. My family tries but, just doesn't understand why I want to do this and why I just can't get control myself. It would be nice to have someone to talk to. Cyndi from Monticello

Hey we can support each other my date is June 24th and I am having a lap RNY done in Wichita, Ks. I am with you about the anticipation and fear I have mixed emotions right now, I am also excited and can't stop thinking about how I will look thinner and getting to shop for new clothes that look good! My Mom i just worring herself to much about me getting the surgery done. My kids are excited though because I told them I will be more active with them and be able to go play ball with them more, but they are to young to understand everything.
