Keep up the good work!!! I can totally identify with you I am a size 14 it feels great to say that I still feel like I dont belong when I go into the regular size stores. It feels great to shopp and create a new look.

How are people handling this after a year and a half? I have lost 125 and I am stuck at 175. I have been at the same weight for months. I am a size 16 which is wonderful, but when people say I'm skinny, my reaction is "You've got to be kidding, look at this flab!" I don't know if I will reach my goal (30 pounds more). Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas to stay on the straight and narrow? I mean now I do eat and ocassional piece of bread, I've eat dessert every now and then. I find it is harder and harder to be so strict (100 % Atkins). I know I need to exercise more and eat less, but wahhh!

I haven't been here for a while and thought some of you would be interested in an update. I've lost 140 pounds so far and I am looking and feeling good. Shopping is finally fun again. I'm wearing a size 16 approaching a 14 and no longer have to go to the fat lady stores. I've had to replace all of my shoes since my shoe size has decreased along with all of the rest of me. I'm going to attend the next support group meeting. I haven't been there for a while since it conflicts with golf and bowling days. My sister had the surgery in June of this year and we'll be attending the meeting together. See you there.
