I am May 23 too! I am excited! I also am nervous as I am scared of needles. I mean I have a half-sleeve of tattoos, but when the go under your skin. 
Sorry not very supportive, just one of my fears. I will probably be like a baby holding my mom's hand through it. I am having mine open! Also nervous. I've been doing pretty good on the preop diet though!

I'm extremely nervous, excited and ready to get this done. Pre-Op is Wednesday, the 15th.
I have 2 and 1/2 hrs before I leave for hospital just to make sure we are there on time. have to be there in 4 hrs and surgery in 6 hrs. I'm so excited!!! I can't wait but I'm also terrified. ANY one else awake who has surgery today?? If not thats ok, I will post as soon as I can to tell of my experiences WIsh me luck and see you on the losers bench HUGS
