My surgery is scheduled for May 8th as well : )

People keep asking me if I'm excited and I say, "yes.....and scared, anxious, nervous, uncertain, relieved....." lol

Hi Christi, I would love a friend to go through this journey with. Thank you.
I have to go and have an ultrasound of my liver. Then meet with my surgeon. At that time we will go through what is going to happen on the day we all been waiting for :) also have to get labs done and a health screen. I already did a sleep apnea test and a stress test. All of this and I start my liquid diet on May 7th... Plus I have a one year old that I have to get a babysitter for. I have been working on getting the approval that now that I have it i am in wow mode. I have a lot of things to get done...
Again I am happy to be able to have someone that knows what I am going threw. Thanks :)

Hi Teddy18. Congratulations on your approval and may surgery!!

I agree that may seems like it will never get here. What kind of weight loss surgery are you having? I guess my surgery day will eventually get here but this journey has been long and very stressful. If you would like to keep in touch as we get ready for our BIG day please feel free to add me as a friend. What kinds of tests do you have to do before surgery? My surgery date is on May 21st and I feel exactly the same. Insurance has denied me before and now that I have the approval I still can't believe it. The 21st seems so far away :) but enough time to get things done I guess :)

Still numb. Not excited yet cause I still have a hard time believing that this is really going to happen. Did anyone else feel this way?

Hi everyone and congrats on your dates, my date is May 21st.. Yay!!!! And I feel completely different than how I felt the day before getting my approval. Now I am scared, excited, energized, and ready to clean, cook and get my bags packed :)
