Congrats to everyone! We are so close to our worlds changing! My surgery is scheduled for May 14th as well and I can't explain the full range of emotions but the main emotion is hopeful that this will FINALLY be the tool that helps me lose it and keep it off and I'm so very excited about that possibility! I look forward to following all of your journeys!

My date is 5/15. Have to do Optifast for 7 days, then clear liquid day before. I've been trying to adjust my diet by drinking 2 protein shakes a day for the last 2-3 weeks. Only problem is I am starving by dinner time and end up eating wrong thing...i.e. sandwich or burger on the go.

Mine is the same, 8 days, I started this past Sunday.
Tina, congrats on finally getting here. I too, ahve considered it for years, but instead watched my weight go up and up. Now at 390, I can't imagine doing anything else. My life can't go on like this.

I am scheduled for May 1st. Can't believe it's actually going to happen. So excited, but rightfully nervous!
