I only have to do the liquid diet for one week thankfully!!

My surgery is tomorrow so today is my last day for pre-op. 
I know it continues for a week after, but that have much more protein involved. 

I am very tires/weak and achy, but my moods have been ok. 
Believe me I am hating every minute of it!!!!

I am curious why there is such a wide variance of requirements for this tho.
I am told I have to do the liquid diet to shrink my liver, but when I look online there is no low protein requirement for the shrink your liver diets....

Its strange....

I'll be thinking of you and pulling for you!!  Just think...the end is in sight!!

Hi Sheri.  It's good to meet you, too.  I'm starting at 250 (it seems so weird to be posting my weight here... something I've run away from for years!) and I am to present myself for surgury at 8am on Friday morning, May 27.  I just had my 58th birthday last Thursday.  I have one grown daughter who is starting her internship in mechanical engineering today.  I have been widowed for 3 and a half years.  I'll come home to an empty house except for my four felines.  But the staff at my doctor's office thinks I can handle that.  I do have two sisters that can stop in and check on my and will come if I call them.  The worst of it right now is my knees that hurt like a SOB!
Wow! 5 kids.  you must be an amazing woman!!  Good luck to you.  Are you having the RNY like me?

I am due for my operation in about 5 days. WOW...time is just racing my! I am so excited! I am going nuken futs over this liquid only crap! I have to say I did cheat with only healty bites of egg whites, watermelon and celery. Sorry guys to tease with those foods I just was in so much pain from the hunger. I felt like this liquid changed my perception of food already though. I coulda had junk to fill the void but I made extra healthy cheating options! Still not good though right...I can't justify this to my NUT what so ever.
Any hoo...back on track! I am a lite wait from the feed back someone told me. I am 4' 11" and cw is 158. I am not really a BIG food eater. I eat so healty its odd why I keep gaining weight. I do have high blood pressure and was taking a pill that made me actually gain weight! SUCKS. well I am here to take my life back and get healty and if god allows to be off all medications. I don't want to stand in another pharmacy line to pick up medications!

I am being sleeved on Saturday the 28th in Mexico. Talk about scared out of my ass! I have a 2 fold here, surgery in a 3rd world country then surgery alone...gosh the stress I am under! GOOD LUCK TO US ALL
