Hello again everyone! We are getting so close now - is everyone as excited as I am?!?!
Topic: RE: May 4th Surgery - Rny - any one else?
Best of luck to you today Mary! I too will be thinking about your safe and succcessful surgery! I wouldn't worry too much about dumping syndrom. As long as you dont put yourself in harms way by eating or drinking things with sugar and high fat contact, you shouldnt have dumping syndrome. Also not everyone gets it. Well best of luck to you and stay in touch.

Hi Craig, well you are right behind me surgery-wise - i will be at the hospital in 12 hours . eek.
That is great that you lost 26 pounds, if i could do that I would be very happy. Yes, from what I understand our first six months or so we should not be hungry or want to eat. doesn't that sound too good to be true? After just getting through this surgery what I am really the most worried about is this dumping syndrome - it sounds awful and i know if it happens i will be at the wrong place - like work or something... I also hear we will experience buyers remorse right after the surgery. ... so i am preparing myself for that. I too am looking forward to this because i know there is no other way for me and I am praying that my diabetes goes away or is well-reduced by this surgery.
I will be thinking about you on Thursday. Best of luck, and let's stay in touch.

hello angela,
i am looking for friends to share support with through this life change. it is a whole life change and can hold great things, but there are negatives that we will have to work through. If you would like I would love to be friends.
Praying all goes well today for you and the others. Keep me updated on your progress and allow me to support you along the way.
