The bloating lasted a little over three days for me.  I had my surgery on May 2nd as well and as of today, I won't say its 100% gone but I feel comfortable saying its about 95% gone.  The more walking, movement I did, the better it became.  

I'm doing well, didn't expect to be as sore in the abdomen but other than that okay.  the pain meds really help and so does having support from my family.  It felt great to get home after the hospital... and to take a shower!  I'm still having high bloood sugars  - that's the part i was hoping would go awary right away, but i guess it takes time for some people...Good Luck to you on Tuesday!  Just take it real easy and let us know how yu are.

I start the pre op diet on Monday!!!! I am nervous for that part....

My surgery is at 11 AM which is good because I am not a morning person.  I had not thought about the way to memoralize my new self, I like that one.
