May 4th Surgery - Rny - any one else?

Hi Jasmin - you have the same amount of weight to lose as I do... I'm excited too.  but nervous... i have 12 hours to go before i get to the hospital tomorrow for my surgery.  WIsh me luck!  and I wish you the same.... i will try to reply soon after and let you know how it goes.

Good luck to the rest of you that are coming up quickly too! I have 6 days to go. This is so exciting. We are all making such a life change! 

I'm doing well, didn't expect to be as sore in the abdomen but other than that okay.  the pain meds really help and so does having support from my family.  It felt great to get home after the hospital... and to take a shower!  I'm still having high bloood sugars  - that's the part i was hoping would go awary right away, but i guess it takes time for some people...Good Luck to you on Tuesday!  Just take it real easy and let us know how yu are.

Good Luck to everyone on their surgery.  I mine is on May 11, 2011.  I've been on liquid for 3 weeks.  It has been a struggle, but I've lost 26 pounds.  Excited and nervous about surgery.  Just think we are starting a new way of life.  I just want to be able to walk without being out of breath.
