Hello all you beautiful ladies and gentlemen!! I am having my surgery on May 2nd, 2011 in Puerto Vallarta. I'm currently on day 6 of my pre-op diet . I'm so excited!!! So far I've lost 8 pounds, but I really have trouble with cravings.... . I'm actually looking for an angel....but I don't know how to find one.

Will anybody else be having surgery the same day??

Hello Heidi, I am also having my surgery on May 2nd.
The pre-op diet is very difficult to follow for me too....I have lost 12 pounds on it but it is not easy at all. I wish you the best in your journey. Keep in touch.

I am also having the surgery on May 2nd. I didnt have to do a 2 week liquid diet but I do feel for you guys. Ive been on a supervised diet for 6 months. I have lost 15lbs so far. I hope for the best for all 3 of us next week.

Hello, I am too having my surgery on May 2, 2011. I did not have a preop diet to follow...but I do have to go in tomorrow to have an ivc filter put in to help prevent blood clots. I am really getting nervious for both surgerys at t this point....please all of you keep in touch!

I'm having surgery on May 2nd too!  I've only had to do a 1 week pre-op liquid diet but it has NOT been fun.  3 more days of it!
I'm excited!  Not nervous about the surgery itself but I am nervous about how I will feel the weeks following.  I don't want to be one of the people that feel miserable for a month or more.  I also worry about how I'll treat headaches after surgery, won't be able to take my beloved Excedrin.  Other than those things, I couldn't be more excited to have my surgery.  :)
I'd love to "Friend" all of you since we share the same date!!.....

We are in our hotel room in beautiful Puerto Vallarta. It was a hot and sunny day. I cheated on my liquid diet today . I ate scrambled eggs, potatoes and sausages.....yes there is lots of guilt, but I had to! All I could do was smell the food and it was like a magnet. I hope it doesn't make such a big deal for the surgery. I am not nervous at all; in fact I am really excited. We need to be at the hospital for 11:30am tomorrow. Have a wonderful night everybody!!
