I had mine on May 25th too, and haven't seen the scale move for about 8 days. Everyone tells me not to worry--that my body is in "shock" right now from surgery--thinking that it is being starved. My doctor said they don't even weigh patients until 1 month out due to the surgery recovery. They tell me just keep doing what you need to do and your body will eventually cooperate. It is frustrating to me to see others losing so much right away, but we are all individuals. I lost 24 before surgery and only 9 since. I can't wait for my body to kick it into gear!

Hi my Friend, I'm Shasha from Singapore,I had my VSG on 14 May 2010,I had lost 28pounds.I understand how u feel, honetly this is the first time I post something about my VSG,my way of arranging my diets is horrible, because I want to lose faster so my beverage is always fresh lemon squeeze, every time when I have to do it,I will take 5 fresh lemons and squeeze the juice and add 700ml of water, that is my beverage for the past almost 1 month.Even that I'm been given a greenlight for pureed diet,I take it as little as possible sometimes I bare myself with lemon juice the whole day nothing else,I can remember I had half boild egg 4x in this 1 month journey, some clear fish soup and nothing at all,I believed at this moment when I don't feel hungry why should I think about food? I'm been counting on calories,no yogurts no shake.I want to smile every morning stepping on the scale and see the dropping,I started cycling and work out in the gym 1 week ago,I don't do much but at least 1.5hours 4 times a week is enough. If you want something with low calories, try to steam a medium size fish, add in oyster sauce, pound garlic, slice ginger, pepper alittle of sesame oil and 1/3cup of water, steam it for about 15 minutes u can also add bean curd into it all is protein and just eat slowly and chew 21x on every spoon intake..I hope u like it.
Thanks,
