I have mine on May 3rd. Can't wait! Christine, I have 4 kids under 7 so I SHOULDN'T be on a here at all because there is always something to do around here to clean up.

Topic: Did not know there was a board by surgery month

Just got my date and now I'm super excited. FRIDAY - MAY 7 is my big day. 8:30 a.m. surgery with a 6:30 a.m. hospital arrival. VSG - here I come!!!

Everytime I read a post of someone's upcoming surgery, I get so excited. I will have mine on 05/07/10. So much runs thru my head because I have read so much on the board..good and not so good experiences. But I know deep in my soul that this is the best thing for me. Good luck with the surgery and enjoy the new you!

Congrats on your good news! The only thing I will be out of pocket for is that my surgeon charges an $1100 revision fee, not covered by the insurance ( I have the lapband, I am going to the gastric bypass) and I will have to pay my 20% coinsurance which is $425. Hope this helps.

You will be just fine, stay strong,,YOU can do this (for YOU first of all and your family). I will have my surgery the day after you. We will be happy we made the decision. Here's to a wonderful new life!
