Excellent! I don't have my presurgery blood work till the week of my surgery. I'm feeling all the things you are too. when I got my 'reminder' in the mail with the two week pre op diet it really became real for me. :::deep breath:::

I'm being a total dork about this but, what is on your list of things to buy to be ready when you get home? I don't want to buy too much as we have been warned that tastes will change, but I"m buying some protein drinks, some of my liquid diet foods, caffeine free tea, a new water bottle and my vitamins. You?

I have been approved and had my presurgery blood work . I am excited, nervous, yet looking forward to it all... except the IVs while in the hospital.

I am wilth you, my surgery is the 17th of May and I am also nervous and excited at the same time, My daughter just had her surgery and I went through the whole thing with her. I don't know if it that helped me or hurt me but she is great and busy trying to get used to the new diet and rigamarole surrounding the eating schedule and getting those grams of protein down. Are you involved with a support group?
