I too have my surgery on May 3rd. I am very excited and I guess a little nervous, who wouldn't be right? .
I am on a pre-op liquid diet right now so already getting used to the small amount of food. It isn't easy but it isn't as difficult as I thought it would be.
I have my water, chewable multivitamins (centrum chewables.. horrible taste, so might change), my Bariatric Advantage and Chike meal replacement powders. SF Jello, will be getting some SF popsicles probably tomorrow and probably get a new water bottle as well.
I never thought of the idea of a mug/plate warmer but that might be a good idea seeing I will be eating wayyyyyyyyy slower than I ever have in my life and I hate cold food. Small plate/bowls is also a great idea, that way it doesn't look like the itsy bitsy bit you get a serving.. so thanks for those tips:) 

I'll go shopping for new nightgown/pj's probably next Saturday or so and get myself some nice slippers and other goodies:)

I hear ya... I have a date of May 10th... and I am starting to freak out. I just keep telling myself it will be worth it in the end.
It will be fine....it will be fine.....it will be GREAT!!!!

I know exactly how you feel! My surgery date is May 26 too.  Sometimes I feel like damn I don't want to wait a month and then I feel like am I REALLY going to do this? It's so scary and exciting.  Good luck with your surgery... and yeah its really going to happen.

Wow. can't believe that my date is just around the corner. Kind of excited but also thinking if I am doing the right thing. Completely changing my life for the rest of my life. 

 Best of luck to you - you will be having your surgery on my birthday........lol.  My lap band surgery is scheduled for May 14th - I'll be right behind you.  Here's to getting healthy!!
