Congrats Ladies and Whoo Hoo! My surgery is May 10th as well, Dr William Johnson (Atlanta Bariatrics). I am soooooo excited!

Good Luck to all of you having surgery before me. I have been drinking a Protein shake a day for a month already they wanted to build me up before surgery.

Yesterday I started my protein diet before surgery. Did really well and was never hungry.
My NUT wants all protein or almost all protein for two weeks prior so it shrinks the Liver and they have a better view of the Stomach. I am having my Stomach Removed not stappled do to a disease of the stomach. So I won't have to worry about a G tube since I won't have a stomach.

I bought Centrum Liquid vitamins, Have 5 pound bag of Vanilla and a 5 pound bag of Chocolate protein powder in addition to the 2 2 lb cans I ahave been using.
