Well, I have to be at the hospital tomorrow morning at 6:30.  I am so scared and excited all at the same time.  I know why I am doing this and I know everything will go great.  I also know that if I didnt feel anything at all I would not  be normal.... SO   .... I am travling a road that many have walked before me.  Just tell me one thing in the end is it worth going through Hell?

 I'm scheduled for my DS with Dr. Elariny in VA on May 24th!  I'm so excited, but I am so anxious and nervous too. 

Anyone have any suggestions on how to keep busy and keep my mind off things as my date gets closer?  I can barely sleep!

Just wanting to let you know that May 6th is Nurses day and Nurses week is from May 6th through May 12th ending on Florence Nightengale's birthday.

These days, the hospital's barely recognize the nurses in this tight economy.  The public generally doesn't know.

Walmart has Packets of 8 cards for Nurses day for about 3 bucks.  You would probably make your nurses day if you just thought of bringing a card.

There are some really great nurses out there and maybe some not so much but those who are willing to work with us and be supportive deserve to be honored too.

I am soooo ready! I am on day 13 of 14 Liquid Pre-Op Diet. I haven't eaten a bite in 13 days. I am so sick of broth, V-8 juice, yogurt, etc. I am ready for at least some runny mashed potatoes or soups. My surgery is scheduled for 9:30am on Monday.  Good luck girls!
