Hi Robin - I am a May baby as well.  Had the surgery on 5/17 and am doing well.  I had the RNY what did you have?  I am now on solid liquids which is mostly puddings and milk.  The first week was okay but I am starting my second week and am getting bored....  I lost 17 pounds right away but now am a standstill, it is pretty frustrating.  But I have seen the many success stories of people who have lost weight and I know I will get there eventually.  I guess it's just a matter of time and patience helps.  Hope you are doing well.  Please feel free to check out my blog and email me on your progress.  Best of luck on your journey.

Hey there!  I had surgery May 12th.  Doing good.  Lost just about 30 lbs.  I can eat just about anything.  No red meat and no salad yet!!! I can't wait for salad!!!!
But things are going great!! Dr took me off BP meds last week.  WHOO HOOOO!!!!

I had my RNY on May 25th. Right now, the biggest challenge seems to be fluids.  I am getting them in, but when my hands are busy (folding clothes, washing dishes, etc), I am not focusing on sipping.
I lost 24 pounds before surgery and have lost another 9 afterwards.  I do seem to be stuck at 245ish.  I am anxious to get through this time.

I really feel great!  I had very little pain after the 1st day post-op.  Getting my staples out was a huge improvement--no more pulling & pinching!

I started soft/pureed foods this weekend and it felt great to actually "eat" something.  I am anxious to try new foods.  It will make me feel more like a normal person.  My family went out to eat last night and I went, too.  My children were gracious to share with me.

I has my RNY on May 19th. I'm doing pretty well. Scared to incorporate new foods due to wondering if I can tolerate the same things anymore. I have lost 44 pounds......nice huh? I want to start adding more foods into my diet but as I stated I am scared of dumping or intolerance. UGH! Still not getting my protein in like I should.....but getting all my water in.

Wow = we are all doing pretty good. I've been at a bit of a stall for almost 2 weeks but keep doing the right things and I'm hoping my Sunday weigh day will show something down. I'll be sure to get a two mile walk in and pee before I weigh tho! LOL
