May 7th!!! That was fast!!!

Wow...I just finished my pre-op doc visits on Monday and today I got a call to schedule surgery for next Friday!!!!  I had to decline that date because my littlest is having her first communion on the 1st.  So May 7th it is!!!  Now it all starts to seem real.  Before it was just talk and it felt like I was going through the motions but it seemed so far off.  Huh...no more!  Already ordered some sample protein powders...not even gonna bother with tasting them now...I've heard that your tastes may change post op.  Got my bullet on stand by, crystal light in the cabinet, and sugar free pops in freezer.  Now off to the pharmacy for those vitamins.

 My surgery is may 7th too. please me know how yours goes.

 Best of luck to you - you will be having your surgery on my birthday........lol.  My lap band surgery is scheduled for May 14th - I'll be right behind you.  Here's to getting healthy!!

Yea - another May 7!   Today was day two of my liquid diet and I did surprisingly well again.   I've tried two different protein drinks and liked them both.   Tomorrow I'm trying some in my bullet blender too!    Looks like a few of us will be same day new tummy babies.    We get to share and compare.
