Did I count that right? I am so excited! Can you tell?

I'm being a total dork about this but, what is on your list of things to buy to be ready when you get home? I don't want to buy too much as we have been warned that tastes will change, but I"m buying some protein drinks, some of my liquid diet foods, caffeine free tea, a new water bottle and my vitamins. You?

Woo hoo!  Two weeks away and counting!

I think my priorities will be making sure I've got plenty of broth, sf popsicles and sf jello, maybe some Crystal Light, and my vitamins.  I'm going to get one of those Ninja Master Prep gadgets to do my protein shakes (google it if you're not sure what it is; sounds good!) and a shaker/water bottle dedicated for protein shakes.

What else am I forgetting?

I know! Its very very soon. I just got my date last Wednesday. I am so excited and only a little bit freaked.

I want to make sure I have:
broth, sf jello, vitamins, protein, water bottle... and good walking shoes (already broken in!) I am going to walk walk walk walk walk.....and sip sip sip sip sip after surgery.

Closer to the date, I will probably expand the list... but those are my priorities right now.

Counting the days now too. I am also freaking out a little about the protein drinks and vitamins. I have a couple of samples I'm going to try. A new water bottle sounds good too. Someone said that decaffeinated Green Tea is good for nausea. Good luck everyone!

I went out and bought my sugar free stuff.  I am taking fusion baratric vitamins that are chewable.  My surgeon said they have it all in there for you.  I like the Unjury protein powder.  I am so scared all of the sudden.  I want this and I know it's just cold feet.  Wow went to the doctor today and May the 3rd!!!!  Won't be long till I am on my way!

I too have my surgery on May 3rd. I am very excited and I guess a little nervous, who wouldn't be right? .
I am on a pre-op liquid diet right now so already getting used to the small amount of food. It isn't easy but it isn't as difficult as I thought it would be.
I have my water, chewable multivitamins (centrum chewables.. horrible taste, so might change), my Bariatric Advantage and Chike meal replacement powders. SF Jello, will be getting some SF popsicles probably tomorrow and probably get a new water bottle as well.
I never thought of the idea of a mug/plate warmer but that might be a good idea seeing I will be eating wayyyyyyyyy slower than I ever have in my life and I hate cold food. Small plate/bowls is also a great idea, that way it doesn't look like the itsy bitsy bit you get a serving.. so thanks for those tips:)

I'll go shopping for new nightgown/pj's probably next Saturday or so and get myself some nice slippers and other goodies:)

good luck to you all.. please feel free to add me to your friends list so we can keep eachother up dated and be a support for each other;)
