My insurance approved the request for surgery and we scheduled for May 3, 2010!  I am so happy and excited!  I would love a date buddy if anyone else is scheduled that day!  I am having the RNY.

I will Have WLS may 6th, 2010.. I will have  Gsleeve. ..Good Luck. I have Lost 21 pounds.... Keep In touch. good Luck !!!!

I'm scheduled for May 3 also!  I'm having the VSG.  Best of luck and I'd be happy to be a date buddy with you.

My surgery date for RNY is May 6th.  Isn't it exciting???  I can't wait.  Good luck to us all! 

I have to get my pre op blood work in a few weeks and chest x ray and then just one more appointment with the dietician and surgeon...and then it's time for the surgery. 

It is exciting!  But wow all the appointments!  They wanted to schedule my surgery for April 12 or the 26th but I am going on a camping trip from April 15 through the 18 so that would put me on the liquid diet on a camping trip.  So we decided to set my nutrition appointment up for the Friday before my trip and I will start the 2 week liquid diet the day after I get back on the 19th.  I have been working on having this surgery for almost 2 years!  And now that it's so close I am almost disbelieving!

I am scheduled to have my RNY on May 4th.  Have my EGD scheduled for April 22nd.  Hospital will call to schedule labs and chest x-ray.  I am excited but wi**** was sooner.  Let's all stay in touch.

i definitely think we should all stay in touch.  I know for one that I am going to want to talk to someone who is going thru the same thing as me.  Add me as a friend if you'd like!
