I'm RNY on May 6th! Best of luck to you! Hard to believe it's only a month away...all this waiting! :)

I am scheduled for VSG in Baltimore on May 11th 2010.  Ready to do this:-)

Hello I am rather new here but I am having the RNY possible Open with full gastrectomy alson on May 11th in Chicago NWMH with (eye candy) Dr Alenander Nagle...  woo hoo can't wait

I first seen my DR on March 10th, the longest wait I had was waiting to see the nutritionist.
I have  my pre-op blood workup and ecg on April 28th,   My PCP will do my Pre-Op clearance tomorrow or next Saturday he is not from the same hospital but has worked with the Dr's from this hospital for my mant stays already this year they have no problem taking his orders for my meds.  I have to go off of coumadin and on to Lovenox shots twice daily 7 days before surgery and stay on the shots after surgery for a week to get my blood back to the numbers they want after.
Un knowingly during my stays in Hospital this year, had a Stree test that was good, a Chest scan that was good, and a Sleep study that was good as well as my BAS STomach Emptying Study
which is the reason for the surgery. Stomach doesn't work at all now.  SO it's coming out which then is automatically giving me my RNY..  But I am looking forward to it.. A bit nervous but excited..

 I'm having mine May 11th also but with Dr. Alvarez in Piedra Negras, Mexico.
