Congrats on your upcoming surgery, I know everything will go great I wish you an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery. Hopefully I will be coming home from my RNY the day your going in.

Congrats on getting home, glad everything was uneventful and your recovering. I have been on liquids for 2 weeks for my surgery tomorrow morning. Congrats on the 2lbs so far.

You know I was so thrilled that he called but now things are so real I am not sure if it relaxed me any more. But I have a smile on my face that won't go away it really did make me happy that he called.

Sandy - sounds like you have a great doc - that can only make things go easier for your state of RELAXED mind! Hope my doc does that when the time comes...

I am so impressed it is Sunday at 7:00 and I get a call from my Surgeon asking how I am doing and if I am ready for Surgery tomorrow and if I have any questions. I knew I picked the perfect Surgeon. I don't know if it's a normal practice but it really made me feel great.

I got home yesterday after a very uneventful surgery. I am feeling great just a little tired, but that is to be expected. Though I do have to say that I am ready for real food, another two weeks on liquid. UHHH. Oh well this is the start to my new life. I weighed myself this morning and I have already lost 2 lbs. Yeah!!!! Just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing.

I went to the store and got all the things I needed to make this. I am anticipating switching to puree on Thursday and it can't come soon enough!
I have heard nothing but great things about this recipe... So after I keep down my first simple mush I am going to try this. Thought I'd pass it on since we are all at similar stages.. kinda lol
