I sure hope you find her, and that everything is ok. I am doing good a total of 25 down since I started my liquid diet and a total of 10 since my surgery.  How are you feeling?

I had my surgery on May 4th and I ahve lost 28 pds all together. ( including the preop diet which I lost 9 pds on 2 weeks before).......  My Doc said not to compare it is all different for everyone..... Sounds like you are right on target!!

Topic: Anyone kinda blue after surgery?
I've gone from being super excited to almost wishing I didn't do this.....   I don't have much physical pain but I just feel really tired and flat emotionally. Is this normal at all? Will I feel better in a few days? I have suffered from depression in the past and I don't ever want to go through that again. Sorry if I'm bringing anyone down, but I could really use some input....

I am sooooooo jealous!  I also was banded the 15th and I haven't lost ANYTHING!  I think I dipped into the starvation mode because I was only tolerating only about 100 to 200 cal a day and that was after I was able to drink and swallow.  Congrats on your wt loss and I hope to join you soon.

Topic: RE: Alright- gross- but can you burp????
I have also felt the bubble in the middle of my chest i would assume that we are talking about the same thing. If i cant burp i do find it painful. This morning I woke up with a huge bubble and was in pain for almost 15 min before I could burp.  I emailed my dr and they said that it is normal and to take gas-x to help with it. I have not had problems burping but sometimes it takes a little time. Did you have shoulder pain from the surgery?

God bless each one of you facing surgery tomorrow!  I will definitely keep you in my prayers tomorrow throughout the day.

I'm 5 days post-op and doing well.  I'm sore when I stand and sit, but other than that feel pretty darn good.  I get to graduate to soft foods tomorrow, so I'm excited about that!  If someone had told me 6 months ago I'd be thrilled about eating Cream of Wheat I would have called them crazy!

Keep the faith and welcome to the loser's bench!
