I made this a few days ago and it was DELISH!!! It was sooo good and finally felt like I was eating something normal again. Unfortunatly, it made my stomach very upset for some reason. So far, most of the things in the next phase aren't sitting too well with me. I'm having a problem with eggs and sometimes cream of wheat also.....makes me very queasy. I have been eating soft cheeses and deli meats , chili, refried and baked beans, cottage cheese, which are sitting just fine with me...

Hi this is my first time posting anything on OH or anywhere! Kind of scary. I wanted to introduce myself as a lurker since joining. I have appreciated the experiences shared , inspiration and support given to others and would like to become an active part of it. I had my surgery like you may 20th 2009 and I am just got home may 26th. having difficult time with protein drink that tasted good prior to surgery that now tastes like yuk too sweet so I will be looking for another protein drink . good luck to you and all others in their journey .

I had the red rash and it turned out that I was allergic to the pain meds. After taking the pain meds for almost a week, it had built up enough in my system that body finally recognized it. It turns out that I was allergic to codine. That kinda sucked because the codine was helping me sleep.
Topic: still in the Hospital
well I had my surgery on Monday, I was hoping I would be home know,but my Surgeon will not come by until 6 and that will be the earliest I would be able to leave, everything has been pretty uneventful and very little pain, I awii just be resting and sipping on Losers Bench fo a couple more days
