Hi, hi, hi.
I see you had surgery the day after me, congrats. So far no food intolerances *knock on wood*, especially because I am trying pork chops tonight.
But also, I really haven't eaten anything that could cause me trouble. Some of the things I have eaten are: chicken, fish, beans, tuna, eggs, yogurt, cheese, crackers, the works. I have recently tried pita bread in a homemade pizza and today protein pancakes.
I might try a bite of spanish rice tonight but I highly doubt it because I am already going to be trying pork chops for the first time. I also might try a piece of toast later with pb2 for a snack. And tomorrow morning will be protein coffee and cereal. I'm just trying new things this week lol.
Have you had any intolerances yet?

How is everyone doing? Are you finding anything hard to eat?
I'm still on a soft diet, and have a very limited choice of foods.
Any help would be appreciated!!!
Thanks so much
Cathy
The biggest part of how I have been doing it has been what everyone has been told. ALWAYS have water with you (minus when eating). I have one of those big 40 oz nalgene water bottles. Fill it in the beginning of the day with freezing cold water (if you like cold water, thats the only way I can drink it). Get it in an obnoxiously bright color (mine is neon pink) and put it not in direct eye sight but perphiral (sp) view....the color will catch your eye continously and will remind you to drink. Also, while you eat stick it is the freezer to keep it nice and cold...and it won't tempt you to drink. This worked for me cause it was always taunting me and reminding me to drink and I drank the entire bottle without thought.
*extra. regular water bottles and cups didnt work with me cause I would ignore them.
Hopes this helps someone else!

At least next time this happens we will know what it's like and hopefully be less discouraged about it.
Hang in there and call me if you need to!

So, here's to ignoring stalls and being happy with what we got!
Thanks again!
Someone posted on the main board about all the water we lose early on & how at 2-3 weeks out the body starts to replenish that, so the loss vs water evens it's self out.
I am just doing my thang, walking, doing the EA Sports & Wii fit and eating what I should, gettin my protein and trying to get all my water and staying off the scale.
The weight WILL come off in it's own time... no matter how bad I want it to come off NOW!
Good luck all!
