I have a 5-6 pound swing/week for probably 2 months--I am VERY frustrated--I also do not dump and am finding myself hitting old habits a bit--BUT..I am on it and am making a conscious effort to stop it!! I know I can and will...seems like when there is not loss I get teh "what the heck" feeling and try things and too much of some things...I can eat more than I think I should and worry that I have hurt this great tool I have given to myself--but with that said, I feel I am heading to the right path now and will be okay----I would like to loose another 25 pounds---I'm at 185 down from around 310...I'm happy but would like to see lower numbers soon---I'm setting new goals and reaching them --- some things just take time and I am giving it all I have----WE CAN DO IT!!!! LET"S GO!!!!

Are you saying that you are up/down 5-6 pounds a week? WoW! I have been stable for probably 6 months (with a swing of 2-4 pounds). How much more were you hoping to loose?
Just wondering, what do you typically eat in a day. Are you having problems with certain foods. I am asking because I am still struggling with food, most days it's impossible to eat more that 3-5 bites at a time. It's driving me crazy!!!

My weight loss has stopped just when I was getting used to losing a few pounds a month. Stable now with a swing of between 5 - 6 pounds a week.

I am however having gallbladder surgery one week from today. I'm looking forward to it, though so I don't have the gallbladder attacks anymore! They're awful!
Now that I've got a date for the gallbladder, I can finally start thinking about plastics. I'm going to look into have a panniculectomy after Christmas. I was told you should wait at least 6 months between surgeries. So, I'm quite excited that I can start that process soon!
EOD WIFE, it sounds like you're doing great as well! What kind of plastics did you have done? And if you don't mind my asking, how was the recovery?
And I totally agree, it was hands down the best thing I could have done for myself!I had a maxi TT (anchor type with muscle tightening and some lipo) and a upper arm lift, all of which I paid for and was about 14k. Then Tricare payed for me to get a breast reduction due to back and neck issues.

I'm also doing fantastic! I'm 10 lbs below my goal weight and I'm constantly getting the 'you aren't trying lose anymore, are you?' comments. I'm right in the middle of the normal BMI range for my height, so I'm very happy with where I'm at. I am however having gallbladder surgery one week from today. Sometimes I feel like my goal is out of reach also. I would like to lose 50 more pounds as well. I know we can do it. I have prayed through my plateaus and cut way down on snacking between meals (this was a bad thing for me). I try to drink a lot of crystal light, and exercise at least twice a day, 7 ndays a week. We have a 5 month old pomchi puppy, so he has been a godsend as far as me getting out and exercising more. I guess if I had any advice/suggestions it would be to never give up. I get a lot of encouragement from reading other posts on other wls sites.
Have a blessed day!!
