Yes, my husband has the day booked off of work to come with me. Is your spouse going with you, too? Looks like we're just going to miss each other. I was hoping at least someone that I've talked to on here would be there either at my PAT or when I have my surgery, so I could meet them.

Good Luck with your upcoming surgery, I am having RNY on 5-25 so can not answer about your VSG. I am planning on taking 3 weeks off which sounds like normal from what I have seen. Of course I also work from home so my compute is from one room in the house to another (well I could have my computer in bed with me also but figured I would want to take some time off)

To others who have had VSG,
How long did it take to recover and return back to work? I have read between two to six weeks depending on type of surgery.
