well I am on my way.  I finally feel that I can speak openly about it and me and my friends are even making plans for next year were we can go away to a tropical island and wear a bikini.. I just laugh out loud.  I think that last time I owned a bikini was when I was 4. 

Well I am so glad that I found this support site and looking forward to doing.  And making a new life for me and my boys.

Congrats on getting your date, you are 2 days after me.  I had a 2 month wait for my surgery after I got approval.  I am hoping it goes by fast so I don't stress to much.

What a wonderful day this is. I found out 3-23-09 that my insurance had approved my surgery. Took about 10 days from the time it was sent in. Now today I got a surgery date which will be 5-27-09.
It is kinda far off but there are reason for that and I understand. My surgery will be a revision from a Molina band from 15 years ago to a RNY. Dr. Garth Davis seems to be swamped with revisions as of late and they are not to easy to do and well there is only 1 of him. Soooooooooooooo I will wait. I'm soooooooo happy.
