Topic: May 5th Cinco De new Tamara

I went to my presurgery testing day yesterday and thought I would be scheduled about a month out. Stephanie gave me a date of this coming Tuesday May 5th at 9am. I felt soooo happy and scared at the same time. My head is rushing. Having a hard time sleeping I am so excited. So much to remember so much to do.

My surgery date has now changed from May 1 to May 4. So - MORE shakes. I will try to find the protein chicken soup. Can we have yogurt at this stage (liquids only?) I guess so...I've been eating SF jello. Looking for something good that's chocolate...a friend gave me some pre-mixed Atkins protein shakes - one was chocolate caramel flavor...it was good!

Me too! Found out today I had to change from Friday, May 1 to Monday May 4. 3 days is not that bad...just will be a LONG weekend! But, very disappointing when you are fired up and ready to go!

Just today, my surgery date was changed from Friday, May 1 to Monday, May 4. I'm disappointed because I'm ready to go! It was an insurance/facility issue at the last minute - had to change locations to be in a hospital on my insurance plan. Anyway, I'm excited and ready for Monday to get here.

I know what you mean.....I have been running around like crazy, making plans for my daughter and pets, shopping for the daughter and husband....well and me too! LOL! It will all work out! I'm looking at it like this.....I have so much to do from now until the 13th that the time should fly by! That will probably be the way it works for you as well!
