Yes a four week liquid diet sucks.. I have a fatty liver so they really need it to shrink down.. I started on 4/28/09 and yes its horriable but worth it..

I left Victoria, TX, last night after a long day of meetings and labs.  I don't know if I am really feeling "ready" or if I am in shock as the day is here. 

I am doing this for my health.  I want to throw away my insulin pump asap.  If the weigth falls off in the process, then it is a bonus. 

Please pray that I have a smooth surgery, recovery with no complications in the healing process.

Hi.  I am having lap band May 5.  I am well into drinking my protein shakes and can not wait for my surgery.  I am even excited about getting to have chicken broth afterwards.  I hope I feel like it.  I am getting very tired of the sweetness of the shakes.  Do you have to do the shakes?  Just curious.  What is your post op diet supposed to be?
