Hi all!  I am new to this board.

I am feeling great and have to admit, I have not found anything hard to eat, much to my dismay!!  I, too, need to slow down more, I tend to rush, then it sits there and hurts.  Oh well, live and learn!

Things I need to work on:
NO snacking
Exercise
Slow down eating

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all!!

I can do this, I can do this, I can do this - AND SO CAN YOU!!

Hi, I'm new to this board also, wish I would have found it sooner.
I am a little over 4 weeks out. The recuperation was brutal but as of this weekend I am feeling soooo good. I have lost 39 lbs. so far and feel real good. The swelling in my stomach has finally gone down where I was able to go into the next size down in clothes. I have an issue with constipation and am trying to figure out how to avoid this very painful side effect.
I hate to say that I don't get my protein in except from things I eat. I am still on a restrictive diet until tomorrow but then what? Can I eat normal foods...like salad?
Anyway, really glad to have found this site.
