Wounds

Anyone have difficulty looking at their incisions???  I sure do!!!

not really...I have a few that are about 1/2'' and are closed with glue.  I have one that is about 2'' and also closed with glue.  They are all on the mend.  A few have some black and blue marks but nothing too bad.

I had open RNY and I have about a 4-5 in*****ision, and it is not hard to look at. Now when I had my hysterectomy that was awful to look at, but it did split open after they took the staples out and was a horrible mess. So this one is no biggie and looks like it will be just a faint scar once the healing is finished.

In the end it is a reminder that this is for life.
