Hello, had my RNY May 11th
Hey Everyone,
I thought I would come over here and introduce myself I'm Tomasita but everyone calls me Tommie. We're in Wichita Falls TX stationed at Sheppard AFB....
I had my surgery 5/11 and I'm feeling good with a few emotional woes here and there. Things seem to be going fine and had my staples out this past Friday.
I'm having a hard time getting in my water seems like all I do is sip sip sip... I'm walking as much as I can but afraid to be out in the heat with the binder on cuz of sweating under it with my incision. So I have been visiting walmart way to much the past couple of days.
My biggest problem is not sleeping, don't have a recliner and lying flat kinda makes my thighs numb and tinggly after only 5 minutes. So I've been sleeping in a chair since being released from the hospital. good times I tell ya...

Hey Tommie
Congrats on your surgery. I am up the road at Ft Sill. I didn't sleep well for the first week, then I could sleep in my bed and not the recliner. It just takes some time, it will get better. I too feel like all I do is sip water 24/7, but that is better than having to go to the ER for an IV anyday LOL...
I hope you have a speedy recovery!
