Whatcha Packing?

I know there are several threads about what People Have Packed…What They Didn’t Need…but they go away so fast. By the time I go to start writing them down they are gone. So I thought I would start a thread for us Fabulous MaySurgers. Even if you cut and copy someone’s ideas that you see. Anything is helpful. I just know that I am swamped at work and by the time I go back to find it it’s gone.

So what’s in your suitcase?

Chap stick
Toothbrush and Toothpaste
I will wear a casual loose fitting dress to make for the ride home
Deodorant (cause I am not sure I can stand me if I don't get to take a shower)
I had my pre-op visit today and I need to take my Asthma inhalers (that was new to me)
pillow for ride home

I am sure there is more but that is what I can think about now, I still have time to think of more and can look at this post later with more ideas

hairbrush

slippers

maybe some pjs but most definetly a robe

cellphone

and last but not least

my twilight series books....plan on catching up on my reading

My doc said I will be in the hospital about 4-5 days. I am considering it a mini vaca, I have 2 kids, their spouses, and 3 grand kids under my roof plus hubby and 2 great danes. Plus Saturday is my daughters wedding..So I am gonna need the rest! lol

Hate my cpap machine too. can't wait to get rid of it. Surgery at Einstein Bariatrics near Philadelphia Pa on 5/21/09. Started Liquid diet yesterday - not as bad as I thought, found some yummy protein drink.s

Taking:
Robe
slippers
yoga pants (really just loose fitting pants - I can't do yoga yet!)
big comfy tee shirt (these two items in place of pj's)
chapstick
toiletries
Ipod with music and my books on tape so I can lie back and listen with out holding a book,
or listen while I walk the halls
cellphone
baby wipes - someone suggested these to freshen up
pillow for way home
camera and gas-x strips
