Well at one time we were practically neighbors...lol I lived in London for 15 years. I am now in the Fort Knox/Elizabethtown area.

For the most part I still measure my food...4 oz. Thats what my surgeon suggests. I have found that I can eat more than that and that thought scares the hell out of me so I make sure to measure it out.
Congrats on your success so far Yahaira!!!

I eat until my nose starts to run or I begin burping. Those are my triggers to not take another bite. I plan my meals for the week and make sure I have lots of protein in my two major meals - lunch and supper. I don't really know how much I am eating but I don't eat on a large plate and I eat less than my six year old niece. I have lost 194 pounds so far so I feel like I am doing decently. I decided from the very beginning that I did not have this surgery to deny myself all the goodies in life and occassionally I add those in to my day, but for the most part I stay on plan and eat only foods that have nutritional value. If it is not going to enhance my vitamin/mineral intact - I do my best to not eat it!

Hello everyone is been a while since I post but I always try to read what you guys post and try to reply but I am doing great I'm about almost 9mths out and I still dont know how much is the right amount to eat I eat very little maybe 6 or 8 ounces I am down to 140 lbs which I think is great and I take my protein and make sure I'm eating right. My loose skin is driving me crazy but I think I would rather have loose skin any day than be as big as I was. Anyways how much are you guys eating and maybe some good ideas on what to eat...sometimes I'm not sure if I'm eating the right things and the right amount. Please some advice would be great thanks.

I have carried a magazine around with me for almost a year--when I get to goal about 15 lbs from now--I am going to buy an amazing outfit a model is wearing in the magazine. It will be a splurge (the shirt alone costs more than most of my other complete outfits) but I am gonna do it!!!!!!!

Hello fellow surgery-versaries... I am almost to goal if I would stop changing it...lol...I am thinking to 150 and I am 174 now from 302... I am in some 10's and jr.s11...I figure with the extra skin I am at my original goal of 160..I had recent foot surgery and have been laid up for a week and am not recovered yet...I lost almost all of my weight not excercising ( not suggested i know but had post op complications etc...) and had started a daily routine of walking which I MISS now...I also was paranoid of not losing but I continue to lose..which I am grateful...thank goodness for honeymoon stage and being so close to goal this far out ..
I am so thankful for my RNY!
Congrats to my fellow Maysters :)

Well once my husband gets back from his deployment I will hopefully *crosses fingers* be at goal and we can renew our wedding vows and I can actually wear a wedding dress I want, not just one because its the only one in the store that fits me *ugh* and we are going to start doing the baby dance for one more little bundle of joy to complete our family and hopefully plastics after that. Cheers!

*waves* Hi
This is my first post here, I will be 9 months out on the 20th of Feb and I am doing great. I am down 120 pounds and I feel fabulous. Although I find I beat myself up allot thinking I could be working out more or I should be losing more I tend to be very hard on myself. I have another 80lbs to goal and I am excited. I haven't had any real problems, just an allergic reaction shortly after surgery and some dizziness. I am so Thankful that I did this for myself. What I am more excited about is my husband coming home soon from Iraq and seeing me. I sent him a picture and he said he can't believe that's me he said its like he's got a wife and a girlfriend waiting for him at home LOL. I am so glad to see that everyone else is doing so great. Good Luck to everyone with your weight loss and enjoy this great ride!!
