hi Trish, Do you normally get motion sickness? During my pre-op visit, the anesthesiologist nurse asked me if I got motion sickness. She said there is a correlation between it and post-surgical nausea and gave me a prescription for one of those sea-sickness patches to start wearing the day before surgery. Of the three times I have had general anesthesia, twice I was very nauseated afterwards. We'll see how it goes on Wednesday. Jayne

i have bc/bs. i have had no problem. i am having the sleeve done on the 15th. i just had to do 6 months supervised dr. visits. not bad at all.

My surgery is my 15 and today I get a call that my surgeon is ill and they need to have the chief of surgery do the lapband . now I am really nervous but I agreed because already have time from work and hubby took time off also. So we will see I put myself on clear liquids because tummy is nervous. but I could eat what ever til the day before but to scared and scared i will gain wieght.
